- Representing company in negotiations, mediation, or litigation processes in the event of land-related disputes, such as boundary disputes, conflicting claims, or disagreements over compensation.
- Conducting thorough research and investigations to evaluate the legal status of the land to be acquired, including verifying ownership, encumbrances, liens, and any legal disputes or claims associated with the property
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to land acquisition in Indonesia, including but not limited to the Agrarian Law, Spatial Planning Law, and Land and Building Tax Law
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents such as sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, land use agreements, and other contracts necessary for the land acquisition process. Negotiating terms and conditions on behalf of company to protect their interest
- Assisting the company in obtaining the necessary permits and licenses required for land acquisition and business purposes. This may include permits such as the Principal Business License (Izin Usaha Utama), Building Permit (Izin Mendirikan Bangunan), and other specific permits related to the intended business activity
- Facilitating the transfer of land ownership through proper legal procedures, including the execution of deeds, registration of the transaction with the National Land Agency (Badan Pertanahan Nasional/BPN), and ensuring that the client’s ownership rights are adequately protected
- Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience as Land Acquisition in Managerial level
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Indonesian land acquisition laws and regulations, with a focus on agrarian law, spatial planning law, and environmental regulations related to mining activities.
- Demonstrated experience in handling land acquisition cases, preferably in the context of mining or related industries.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively represent the company’s interests in land acquisition negotiations
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, government officials, landowners, and other parties involved in the process.
- Placement in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan
- Already residing in Balikpapan is preferable
